While it's been some time since my last post, I can assure you that I have been drawing. I've been drawing quite a bit actually, almost every single day. I have lots of projects in the works and plan to post some of them soon.

(Disclaimer: I only Tweet one or two sketches a week.)
So while you are stuck waiting I will post a finished illustration of one of my favorite subjects, Yoda!
Here is the color version of the Yoda sketch i drew last year on my vacation.
Pencil on 9" x 12" Canson 80# Pure White Drawing Paper. Colored using Photoshop CS4 and a Wacom Tablet.
Here's a color version of the "Sara Holman, Queen of the Cupcakes" drawing that I did last year. Normally I'd go all out on the rendering of highlights and shadows for a illustration like this, but I really liked the look of it at the flat color stage so I left it as it was.
Colored using Photoshop CS5.
For Christmas last year my niece asked me to draw her a purple panda. I said "say whaaa..." Not being one to normally do a color Illustration with traditional art tools I said to myself "What the heck am I going to paint/color this with?" I decided to use colored pencils and I think that it turned out great! My niece loved it, as did the rest of my family.
Pencil and Inks on 11" x 14" Stratmore Series 400 Smooth Bristol Board, Colored using colored pencils.
